If one sentence had to be used to describe this year’s festival, it would be: “Super bright, super fun, super colorful!, – a true ASEAN cultural party that turns the PTIT campus into a miniature world tour
From early morning, the air was already hot with an eye-catching ornamental pavilion representing each ASEAN nation: Vietnam in flowing robes and graceful leaf hats; Thailand in vibrant royal gold; Indonesia in charm with sarongs and batik; Malaysia alive with baju kurung… Each corner was a color, each pavilion a separate cultural story but blended into a diverse, vibrant symphony.
Missed highlights:
- Level max traditional outfit: International and Vietnamese students dress beautifully and shimmeringly, creating the highest quality “live virtual” photos from real life.
- Peak performances: Traditional dance performances, modern remix folk music, the “ASEAN Unite” flash mob caused the stage to boom. Laughter, applause, music echo everywhere — turning everyday worries into distant memories.
- The “boiling” food stall: Vietnamese Pho, Thai pad, nasi goreng Indo, rendang, etc.
- Hyper – connected activities: multi-national team – building game, handicraft workshop, sharing stories of the land where people not only meet but also understand each other more deeply about customs and lifestyles.
The festival not only brings back good memories but also arouses cultural pride, helping PTIT students – especially fellow overseas students – feel closer to the “second home” at the Academy. Together, we have painted a vibrant picture of ASEAN diversity, where each nation is a unique landmark but shares a peaceful, cooperative “map.”
2025 ends with gorgeous costumes, a big smile, and now we’re all looking forward to the 2016 festival! Everybody hopes next year will be even more fire, more creative, more connected. Get ready for new meetings, new stories, and another round – up of Asian – even global – travel right here at PTIT!
