FACULTY OF INFORMATION SECURITY

Overview

The Faculty of Information Security was established under Resolution No. 45/NQ-HĐHV dated December 29, 2021, and officially commenced its operations on April 1, 2022.

Functions

The Faculty of Information Security is an academic unit under the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), responsible for education, training, and scientific research in the field of Information Security.

Responsibilities

  • Organize the development, supplementation, improvement, and refinement of educational objectives, curricula, course content, and teaching methodologies in the field of Information Security for all levels and forms of education and professional training assigned to the Faculty, in accordance with scientific and technological advancements in Vietnam and around the world. Manage and implement training plans, objectives, curricula, content, and teaching methods approved by the President of the Institute.
  • Manage and organize the development of textbooks, teaching materials, and learning resources for courses under the Faculty’s responsibility across all academic programs of the Institute.
  • Manage and organize the teaching of courses assigned to the Faculty for various educational programs of the Institute.
  • Organize and implement scientific research projects and professional development plans aimed at enhancing the qualifications and competencies of faculty members and staff. Regularly publish research outcomes to strengthen the Faculty’s academic reputation and visibility.
  • Collaborate with units both within and outside the Institute to promote the integration of education, scientific research, and industry practices.
