POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY LEVEL (PTIT) GENERALLY CONCLUSIOUSLY RECEIVING THE 50-YEAR-OLD LAO STUDENTS OF THOSE NAMES IN THAO PEOPLE

On December 2, 2025, the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) solemnly held a meeting with Lao students on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Independence Day of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos (December 2, 1975 – December 2nd, 2 025) – marking half a century of the construction and development of the country of Million Voi Brotherhood.

The year 2025 has special historical significance for the brotherly Lao people, closing half a century of peace, stability, construction, and development. This is also an occasion for the people of the two countries to look back on the tradition of special, fervent unity, which has been cultivated from the history of revolutionary struggle and continues to thrive in the new period.

High – level and full – scale attendees:

  • Tran Dai Thang – Representative of the Center for International Education Development, Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training.
  • Dr. Kham Xuanh Rong – Lao Cultural and Educational Counselor in Vietnam.
  • Dr. Bounpone Keophengla – Second Secretary of the Lao People’s Democratic Embassy in Vietnam.
  • Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Deputy Director of the Academy.
  • Dr. Pham Vu Minh Tu – Deputy Director in charge of the International Training Center.
  • Nguyen Thi Nghien – Deputy Head of Student Affairs Political Bureau.
  • Teachers and all Lao students are studying at PTIT.

In this important statement, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien stressed: “The Lao National Day celebrations are not only a big day for the Lao people, but also an occasion for PTIT students to look back and appreciate more the tradition of solidarity between the two ethnic groups, while showing their commitment to continue supporting and raising the level in training high – quality human resources for the country.”

PTIT is proud to be a long-time trusted partner: Over the years, the Academy has trained over 200 engineers, masters and doctors for Laos in the fields of Information Technology, Printing and Telecommunications. Currently, PTIT is training 104 Lao students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Especially in 2025, the Academy awarded 28 scholarships to encourage and improve their academic achievements in Vietnam.

The meeting closed in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving a great source of encouragement for Lao students – helping them continue to strive to study and train to become cadres, engineers and experts contributing to the country’s development, while further fostering the increasingly strong Vietnam – Lao friendship.
