According to Associate Director of the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) Tran Quang Anh, the Network of Centers for Excellence in Next – Generation Cyber Technology, Smart Cybersecurity, and Multimedia Communication will focus on training outstanding students through specialized programs.
In early August, the Ministry of Education and Training announced seven networks of Northern Technology 4.0 Outstanding and Talented Training Centers. The Post and Telecommunications Technology Academy – PTIT is assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to assume the prime responsibility for the Network of Excellent Training Centers for Next – Generation Cyber Technologies, Smart Cybersecurity and Multimedia Communication. The Ministry of Education and Training’s entrustment of the Post and Telecommunications Technology Academy to assume the prime responsibility for the network of centers for excellence training in next-generation network technology, smart cybersecurity and multimedia is a milestone, both acknowledging the Academy’s contributions to the supply of human resources in strategic technological fields and a great responsibility toward the Academy.
Next-generation network technologies, smart cybersecurity and multimedia are core technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, closely associated with the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The assignment to assume the prime responsibility demonstrates the leading role and training and research capacity of the Post and Telecommunications Technology Academy in the fields of advanced technologies.
For students and trainees of the Academy as well as schools within the Network, this opens up practical benefits such as: access to modern training programs, AI integration, digital technology and corporate connectivity; opportunities to study and study under the guidance of leading technology experts; opportunities for international academic exchange, practice in shared laboratories, modern studios; and, in particular, opportunities to directly participate in research – innovation – entrepreneurship projects, in a systematic, directional and co-ordinated manner by both schools, businesses and international organizations.
In the coming time, the Network of Training Centers for next-generation network technology, smart cybersecurity and multimedia will focus on development to become the leading training, research and innovation center in the region in key technological fields of the fourth industrial revolution.
The network will attach importance to close connection between training institutions, enterprises and international organizations, creating an open, interdisciplinary, transferable and integrated academic ecosystem. The training methods will be innovated towards personalized, flexible, theory – to – practice, with the emphasis on the advanced learning model: 40 – 30 –30 “.
At the same time, the Network will also bring together a team of prestigious experts, lecturers and scientists at home and abroad to participate in training, research and knowledge transfer. On that foundation, the Network is committed to contribute to providing high quality human resources, with digital mindset, digital skills and ability to adapt quickly to the development requirements of the digital economy and digital society.
In the immediate future, the Academy shall concentrate on: elaborating guiding documents and strengthening the Coordinating Board of the network. Standardize and modernize training programs towards integration, interdisciplinary and practicality; experiment new training models, especially the ” 40-30-20 ” model; establish digital connection platforms between learners, lecturers, enterprises and international organizations. Solutions include:
Human resource training and development: Focus on training excellent students through specialized programs; develop online skills assessment platforms; apply AI to teaching assistants and digital learning materials.
Scientific research and innovation: To implement national-level scientific and technological tasks; to associate research with postgraduate training and applied products.
International Cooperation: The goal is to attract at least 100 international experts and lecturers and to strengthen cooperation with the world’s Top 1 00 universities.
Facilities and infrastructure: Promote sharing laboratories, build multi-interactive communication complexes and multimedia studios serving teaching and producing digital content.
The Academy expects that the Network will become a leading center of attraction and spread of technological intelligentsia in the region, a place of incubation of digital talent, high quality scientific research and application to practice, and a strong contributor to the national education and training digital transition.
