Recently, the Post and Telecommunications Technology Academy cooperated with Viettel in holding a ceremony to award a 2024 Viettel talent scholarship to 5 postgraduate students with total value of VND 250 million. Attending the Ceremony, Dr. Tan Hanh, Deputy Director in charge of the Ho Chi Minh City-based Academy, representatives of leaderships of the Academy’s functional departments and divisions.

Accordingly, the graduate students with outstanding academic achievement include: Nguyen Quoc Hung specialized in computer science; Tran Quang Hiep specialized in information technology, Nguyen Van Nhan specialized in electronic and telecommunication techniques; Hoang Duc Thang specialized in Information System and Nguyen Van Minh Sang students specialized in telecommunication technique.

Representatives of the scholarship recipients, Nguyen Van Nhan, a student specialized in electronics and telecommunications, shared the scholarship not only as a source of financial support but also as motivation for the students to continue pursuing their passion, striving to achieve the targets in learning and scientific research. Nguyen Van Nhan also pledged to effectively use this funding source, focusing on research projects of high scientific and practical significance and able to apply technology to participate in solving problems for society as the goal of this scholarship program.

Professor and Associate Professor Le Nhat Thang, Dean of the Graduate University Education Department, and Do Hai Yen, Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Affairs, presented scholarships to the students.

The 2024 Viettel Talent Scholarship is implemented on the basis of a cooperation agreement between the Academy and Viettel. The objective is to provide financial support for talented students and learners to have good learning and research conditions, improve their self-efficacy and be able to apply technology to solve practical problems for society.

It is an activity that demonstrates Viettel’s efforts to develop high – quality human resources for the country, especially digital technology personnel.
