On April 18, 2025, the award ceremony for the international information security competition M*CTF – International, was held as part of the COMINFFEST – 2015 International Science Festival organized by Moscow Telecommunications and Informatics University (MTUCI), LB Russia.
At the M*CTF – International competition, the PTIT.Lugia team of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology excelled against strong opponents from different countries to win the Second Prize overall. This is a proud achievement, showing the high professional level, strategic thinking and intensive cyber-situation-handling skills of PTIT students in the international arena.

Final M*CTF – International results:
🥇 1st place: Wan na.W1n (University of Information Technology – HCMC University)
🥈 Second class: PTIT.Lugia (PTlT)
🥉 Third place: MSEC For Society

🎓 The award ceremony will be held online at 9:30 a.m. Moscow time, April 18, 2025 (Saturday).
The event was attended by the MTUCI Chancellor – Prof. Sergey Erokhin, the vice-principals, Russian consulate representatives in Vietnam, representatives of the universities and representatives of competition teams participated.

This is an occasion to pay tribute and honor the outstanding efforts of students, lecturers and teams that contributed to the success of the contest, and an opportunity to exchange, learn and connect internationally in the field of information security.

Speaking at the ceremony, PTIT – Pg.TS representative. Huang Xuan Rooster, head of the Information Security Department, has sincerely thanked MTUCI University and the COMINFFEST Organizing Committee for creating a healthy, informative and high-quality academic playground for information security students. He also expressed his desire to continue cooperating with MTUCI and other universities in the future and to continue participating in more prestigious international competitions, contributing to enhancing academic exchange and developing student capacity at the global level.

The achievement at M*CTF-International once again confirmed the status and quality of PTIT’s training in information security, and showed the potential of school students to participate in international academic playgrounds.
