On the morning of April 17, 2025, the working group of the Department of Information Security – Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) held a working session at the headquarters of the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) in Hanoi. The meeting took place in an open atmosphere, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the school and the professional organization in the context of the strong development of digital technology.
During the exchange, the two sides focused on discussing key contents related to the universalization and application of blockchain technology in Vietnam. VBA and PTIT representatives agreed to evaluate blockchain as one of the key platforms supporting the digital transition, especially in the area of information security. Improving students’ and communities’ understanding of this technology is considered an essential step.
In addition to the professional content, the two sides also mentioned a plan to coordinate the implementation of the artificial intelligence (AI) universalization program for 1 million Vietnamese people. This is an activity of great social significance, aiming to build a smart digital community, actively adapting to the development of new technologies.
Besides this, the Department of Information Security and the Vietnam Blockchain Association have agreed on a number of cooperative orientations in the coming time, including: organizing seminars, workshops and thematic seminars for students; expanding opportunities for connectivity between businesses and schools; developing technology playgrounds and practice activities to improve innovative skills and thinking for information security students.
The working session confirmed the two units’ determination to contribute to the development of high-quality digital human resources, while promoting community-service technological initiatives.
The next cooperation programs between the Department of Information Security and the Vietnam Blockchain Association promise to bring more practical activities, making positive contributions to Vietnam’s tech ecosystem. Let’s look forward to the events ahead.
