The CTF (Capture The Flag) is a professional information security exam in which contestants solve reality simulations such as Web Security, Reverse Engineering, Cryptography, Pwnable or Forensic to find the “flag”. Through the PTIT CTF, students have the opportunity to train in critical thinking, teamwork, tactical planning, and professional ethics. It is also a bridge between schools and businesses, helping to discover and nurture young talents for Vietnam’s information security sector.

During the 3.5 hours of competition, teams alternately conquered a multi-layered system of exercises, which required skill analysis, precise technical manipulation, and quick reflexes to complex situations. To increase the drama and limit the “tracking” of the opponent’s tactics, the chart was frozen before the last 30 minutes. This operation opens up opportunities for last-minute bursts, while noting many exciting surprises as time passes.
