On the evening of September 26, 2025, the Information Security Department of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) held a meeting. meeting new students in 2025 in Information Security in conjunction with the award ceremony Students with Information Security – PTIT CTF 2025. This is an important annual event, aimed at welcoming the new generation of students and celebrating outstanding achievements in information security learning, research and competition.

Formal atmosphere and ceremony implications

The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere and was attended by Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac – Director of the Academy, representatives of the functional departments, leaders of the Information Security Department, and teachers in the Faculty. In addition, the event featured the presence of partner businesses: Vietnam Security Exchange Corporation (VSEC), Vietnam Cyber Security Technology Joint Stock Company (VNCS),CMC Information Security Limited Liability Company, SCS Network Security JSC, Trung Postal and Telecommunications Training Center, BKACAD Technology Academy, Technology and Solution Limited Liability Company TOTHOST. And especially the presence of over 300 new students in 2025 and a large number of information security students.

This is the occasion for new students to be formally integrated into the PTIT community, meet teachers and seniors, as well as get familiar with the professional learning and research environment at the Department of Information Security.

Award for the 2025 PTIT CTF competition

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Faculty solemnly celebrated 2025 PTIT CTF awards – the prestigious student information security competition. Excellent teams were honored and received awards, acknowledging the effort during the participation process.

The PTIT CTF is not only a rewarding academic playground but also a place to discover and nurture young talents in the field of information security. The competition encourages students to practice professional skills, teamwork, and practical problem – solving thinking.
