The 2nd International Conference on Cryptography and Information Security (VCRIS 2025) took place in Hanoi on October 30 – 31, 2015, and brought together scientists, experts and researchers in the field of cryptography and information security. The Department of Information Security – Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) actively participated and contributed to the overall success of the event.

The conference was attended by Prof. Hoang Xuan Dau and Prof. Do Xuan Cho from the PTIT Information Security Department. The two teachers are experienced lecturers who have made many important contributions to research and training in information security, contributing to raising the prestige of the Faculty at domestic and international scientific forums.

In addition, lecturers and postgraduate students of the PTIT Faculty of Security also participated in the conference, presenting the latest research results and discussing the potential development directions in the field of cybersecurity. This is an important opportunity for faculty and fellows to reach out to the international scientific community, learn expertise, and expand research connections.

VCRIS 2025 focuses on a variety of in – depth topics, including:

  • – Cryptography and application models;

  • – Analyzing, supervising and defending cyberattacks;

  • Application of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity;

  • Software and system safety.

The presence of faculty and fellows of the PTIT Information Security Department at VCRIS 2025 demonstrates serious academic spirit, active integration, and willingness to collaborate on research. The results and connections obtained from the symposium will contribute to strong support for the Faculty’s training and scientific research in the coming time.
