On November 10, 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) was honored as the next stop of the NCA UniTour program – a nationwide student community – oriented program, organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Ministry Of Education and Training. The event aimed to introduce the Final Round of the 2025 Student Competition for Cyber Security, while raising awareness and inspiring young generations about the responsibility to build safe, civilized cyberspace.

This year, the BCVT Institute of Technology proudly has four outstanding teams qualify through the preliminary rounds to feature in the Final Round of the 2025 Student Cybersecurity Contest. The teams are outstanding collectives that demonstrate a spirit of learning, creativity, and research passion in the field of information security. The presence of the four teams demonstrated PTIT students’ capacity, serious preparation and enthusiasm in their journey to conquer the most prestigious professional playground for cybersecurity students.

The program featured representatives of three “home” – key elements in Vietnam’s information security ecosystem. This convergence not only demonstrates close collaboration between the parties, but also facilitates students to access practical information, career trends, and new requirements in the digital transformation era.
During the fourth UniTour event on the eve of the final round of the competition, experts from the Vietnam Cyber Security Association, representatives of several tech businesses, and PTIT’s instructors participated in an in – depth discussion around the current cybersecurity situation. The discussion focuses on the challenges in protecting the information system, the urgent need for high-quality human resources, as well as the orientation of cooperation between the school and the enterprise to improve the training efficiency.
At the conference, Doctor. Nguyen Ngoc Diep, head of the Department of Cyber Safety – PT Technology Academy, emphasized:
“The field of cybersecurity has been included in the Academy’s training for 12 years. At present, PTIT has 1,500 graduates, who are working in businesses large and small across the country. This is an important human resource, contributing to meeting the development needs of information security in Vietnam. “

In addition to professional sharing, the event gives PTIT students the opportunity to socialize with professionals, learn more about career skills, technology trends, as well as internships and employment opportunities in the industry. In doing so, UniTour became a bridge to help students shape their career paths in the face of increasing demand for cybersecurity personnel.
The NCA UniTour event at PTIT not only spread the message of the importance of cybersecurity to the country’s development, but also confirmed the Academy’s pioneering role in training and retraining information security personnel. With the cooperation of regulatory agencies, schools and businesses, PTIT continues to move towards the goal of building a safe, healthy and sustainable cyber space for the community and society.
