On the morning of November 15, 2025, the final round of the Cybersecurity Student Competition 2015 (CSCV 20 25) officially took place at the headquarters of the Department of Cyber Security and High – tech Crime Prevention (A05), Ministry of Public Security, with a tense and lively competition atmosphere. The best teams selected from hundreds of teams at home and abroad converged to compete in the most fiercely and strategically high-stakes round of the season.

The contest was organized by the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA ), under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry Of Education and Training, in collaboration with A05 and the Vietnam Students Association. The program’s objective is to connect training and research with practice while discovering and fostering high-quality cybersecurity human resources for the country.
The Final Round is divided into two test panels with different characteristics. Group A – Attack/Defense brought together 20 teams, including three international teams competing online. Teams must simultaneously protect their systems and attack, exploiting the opponents’ flaws in the data center simulation environment, creating real-life competitive matches. Pool B – Jeopardy Advanced CTF consists of 56 teams competing online, focusing on specialized areas such as Web Security, Reverse Engineering, Pwnable, Cryptography and Forensics, which require analytical thinking and effective team coordination in the short term.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vu Ngoc Son – head of the Jury – stressed his desire to accompany the young generation of cyber-savage enthusiasts, expecting the contestants to become the core force defending cyberspace and contributing to national digital transformation.

The atmosphere at the test tables became tense shortly after the opening ceremony. Teams quickly stabilize their positions, review logs, build environments, check equipment, and exchange tactics. Every minute felt like a real raid.

In parallel with the competitions, the side – chain of activities at the Hanoi Children’s Palace – Campus 2 attracted large numbers of students, including technology workshops, discussions on cybersecurity risks in the AI era, skills workshops and interactive experience areas. Thereby, CSCV 2025 is not only a competition but also a big technology festival, contributing to spreading information security knowledge, raising public awareness and building the future generation of cybersecurity experts.
