The Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) in collaboration with the Vietnam Cyber Security Association and the Vietnam Security Exchange Corporation (VSEC) has successfully held a symposium on “When AI meets Cybersecurity: How can machines learn without revealing user secrets?”.

The program aims to provide students with a practical perspective on the application of artificial intelligence in the field of Information Security, while clarifying the challenges posed in data protection, privacy, and system security in the context of strong digital transformation.

At the workshop, students were listened to the in-depth sharing from the experts in AI and Cybersecurity, which gave them a better understanding of the relationship between machine learning technology and information security requirements. Besides, the program also facilitates students to interact with teams that have achieved high achievements at domestic and international information security competitions, contributing to spreading the spirit of academic, research and professional competition.

In addition to the professional contents, the workshop also provides students with practical information on the core skills, recruitment needs of enterprises as well as the career roadmap in the field of information security. The interactive activities and minigames are rationally integrated, contributing to a lively atmosphere and strengthening the bond between participants.

Within the framework of the program, the signing ceremony between the Vietnam Cyber Security Joint Stock Company (VSEC) and the Information Security Department of the Post and Telecommunications Technology Academy has been held, opening many cooperation opportunities in training, practice and recruitment, thereby improving the quality of future cyber security human resources.

The workshop also commemorates two representative student teams of the Academy: the PTIT CBS team – winners of the 2025 Cyber Security Student Competition and the ATTT team. PTlT – winners at the M*CTF 2015 competition held in the Russian Federation. These achievements further confirmed the professional capacity and position of PTIT students in the domestic and international information security arena.

Through workshops, the connection between schools, enterprises and students is strengthened, contributing to the training orientation associated with practice, meeting the demand for development of high-quality cybersecurity human resources in the digital era.
